“Dubes 52” is now approaching sixty years of age, the majority of which he has spent in a land far from his birth place, the adjustments that enabled him to secure a living for his family. Reflecting back on the journey from a young boy to a grown man, some good and some not-so-good decisions are now beyond his power to change. He is a product of his environment partly due to the area lived and the people he interacted with, but mainly the guidance of his parents who were forever drumming into his skull the imperative to succeed. He is eternally grateful that he has lived a full life, avoiding a number of conflicts and skirmishes around the world, and was able to bring up a family and pass on certain aspects that he learned.
United Kingdom (PRWEB) December 21, 2012
Black & Confused in the UK 53/60 is an autobiographical tale of two young Afro-Caribbean boys, left behind in the West Indies by their parents, who emigrated to the United Kingdom to seek greener pastures and eke out a living for the sake of their children. The alien atmosphere, social discrimination, and the cold and damp climate failed to hinder their parents from their goals of a better life for the family.
When it was time for the two boys to leave the refuge of their kindly grandmother and follow their parents to the foreign land, fear and confusion gripped their hearts and minds. Their entry into a whole new different world was filled with strange new concepts and different people, coupled with the fact that their skin color immediately categorized them into the minority. Fifty-three out of the author’s sixty years of existence, he and his brother had lived longer in this new land than they ever had in the place of their births.
Emigrants, members of a minority, and those who are thrust into alien or unusual environments and situations can wholly empathize with the author’s experiences. Black & Confused in the UK 53/60 will also give readers unfamiliar with such life events a sobering insight on what thoughts and feelings dwell in the minds and hearts of those who are lost, confused, and far away from the place they call home.
This book was featured at the New York Library Association Book Exhibit in Saratoga Springs, N.Y. last November 7-10, 2012.

Saeida 4 (40 Hours) by Dr. Walid O. Khalil

[postlink] https://xlibristhebuzzbooks.blogspot.com/2012/12/saeida-4-40-hours-by-dr-walid-o-khalil.html[/postlink]
Dr. Walid Khalil derived from the life of the Bedouins, where the writer lived with his grandfather for a period. He learned these stories from his grandfather to bring them in this book. The hero in this novel is a Bedouin seeking love and happiness in her dreamy perspective. The snuggest of these Bedouin a philosophy comes out of their experience, mental and wisdom together. The writer did not need to leave the desert horizons perceptions, highly distance, but he was the son of the desert who knows its secrets and how to move from plain, mountain, valley, oasis and the deep roots.
Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (PRWEB) December 21, 2012
The term 'Bedu'in the Arabic language refers to one who lives out in the open, in the desert. The Arabic word 'Badawiyin'is a generic name for a desert-dweller and the English word ‘Bedouin’ is the derived from this.
Saeida 4 (40 Hours) written by Dr. Walid O. Khalil tells the story of Saeida, a young Bedouin woman seeking love and happiness in her dreamy perspective. She lives in a desert called Hotun in a small village called Al Rahma. Hager, her aunt becomes her life when her parents had divorced. She refused to get married in order to live for her and bring her up. She suffered because of her hard life, tough living, and struggle against the nature of the desert. However, such condition gave her enough strength and toughness to face all of life’s challenges.
Saeida have to go to the Al-Saada valley for her protection. The tribe decided that she has to go away after they found out her relationship with Dahi, the boy who brought disasters for their family. She accepted unwillingly to depart, but she was sure that her love for Dahi would not decrease, whatever the effect of the valley maybe.Abdul Rahman, the man responsible for the valley came to accompany her. He was an old man with a very big red beard; he had a blue book that he read from time to time and a very long stake that came to his head. He looked at her and told her frankly about what she would face during that journey. He told her that the Al-Saada valley is considered the most difficult and toughest one in the world, but it is the most beautiful. But before their journey, Hager gave Saeida 40 imprinted and closed messages out of a box. She told her to read them after every hour and to understand their meanings and symbols. What will Saeida learn from her journey? What are the things that she will discover for herself, her aunt, her companion and her love upon reaching Al-Saada valley?
Saeida 4 (40 Hours) is a compelling novel that will capture readers imagination as it will take them into the history of Arab Bedouin folklore. It contains a lot of morals, values, customs, traditions, popular knowledge, materialistic culture and fine arts that everyone could learn from.

Lukas Utete was called to ministry when he was general sales manager of what was then the biggest Coca-cola bottling plant in Africa. He started ministry leading less than twenty people in a police camp. At the time of going to Bible College, the group had grown to 286 people.
(PRWEB) December 21, 2012
United Kingdom – (December 20, 2012) – Each member of God’s family is enmeshed in a spiritual war—a war which Satan is determined to win. In his new book, Devil's Lethal Dose, Rev. Lukas Utete, author of What God says about HIV and AIDS and Identifying and breaking generational curses, exposes the Devil’s deceptions and how Christians can avoid falling into his ploy.
Life is fraught with tests, all of which will either break or strengthen a person’s character. Rev. Utete shares Bible-based insights on how to become better equipped in handling these obstacles. He also revisits the miracle of salvation and underscores its importance in the lives of every believer.
“This book is written to emphasize the fact that Salvation is through the finished work of the cross of Jesus Christ. That there is only one God who is almighty and eternal and who revealed himself through the person of Jesus Christ. Devil's Lethal Dose looks at the various ways the devil is deceiving people into believing that there are many ways of reaching God,” he says.
Incisive and compelling, Devil's Lethal Dose is both a celebration of the wonders of salvation and a guidebook that elucidates how Christians can grow stronger in their faith.

South Africa (PRWEB) December 21, 2012
Choosing a spouse has been, and remains, a hot topic amongst people in various circles. Many beliefs and ideas have been developed around this theme, and almost everyone believes that his or her way is the best. In his invaluable work, author Thabani Vitalis Xaba confronts The Challenges Of Choosing A Marriage Partner to provide a definitive guide to a successful marriage.
In his work, Xaba invites his readers to examine the issue with an objective mind. The aim of his book is to broaden and expand the reader’s understanding regarding this heated topic of debate and, through intellectual discourse, empower them with the ability to formulate their own convictions and make their own life choices. As the Bible declares, “my people perish for lack of understanding or knowledge,” then so too does Xaba seek to enable his readers to make well-informed decisions, to save them from grief and regret over poorly formed choices in life. Choosing a spouse has both short and long-term consequences, and marriage cannot be seen as a marathon or a one-day phenomenon. According to Xaba, it is a process, and its success is dependant on more than finding Mr. or Mrs. Right, one must also change the self to be the right person as well.
The Challenges Of Choosing A Marriage Partner is a practical and well-thought-out discourse on marital matters of utmost import, detailing both the process of choosing the ideal spouse, and the necessity of ‘becoming’ a good partner as well. Those looking for an ideal life partner, as well as those seeking to improve their marriages, will find Xaba’s work to be a helpful guide in finding happiness and satisfaction in their matrimony.

Nice Place, Shame About the Human Race by Allan Gilmour

[postlink] https://xlibristhebuzzbooks.blogspot.com/2012/12/nice-place-shame-about-human-race-by.html[/postlink]
Allan Gilmour was born in Nottingham, England, in 1967. In 1987, he sought new horizons and left England’s green and pleasant land for a life in the Black Forest of South Germany. He possesses a German Masters degree in Hairdressing, is self-employed and is a lecturer in Hairdressing and Business Studies. When not playing about with his keyboards, cataloguing old German philately or sifting through his collection of old vinyl recordings, he loves to jog through the rolling hills of the Black Forest which creatively inspires him for future projects. Nice Place, Shame About the Human Race is his first non-fiction work.
VS-Schwenningen, Germany (PRWEB) December 21, 2012
From author Allan Gilmour, Nice Place, Shame About the Human Race is a profound yet entertaining collection of observations and reflections on modern behaviour. Primarily targeted to readers in search for personal direction and happiness, Gilmour’s newly published book attempts to build an increased positive awareness of people’s daily conduct towards fellow-citizens and emphasizes the possible ensuing consequences of those actions.
“My objective in writing this book is not to try and change anybody’s lifestyle, or for anyone to stop doing the things that give them pleasure,” says Gilmour. “I only wish, based on viewpoints from my varied observations, to try and make our attitudes to life more transparent and attempt to illustrate the importance of a better consciousness for our actions. I certainly have no authority in telling anyone how they should live their lives!”
The two extraterrestrial guys on the front cover (and in the preface) are the main characters of the book. They have been wittingly created in an attempt to humourously explain the title of this book. Because some of the work borders on being of a serious nature, Gilmour felt it necessary to lighten the book up in a creative way. After all, not everything is all gloom and doom.
A light—and occasionally ironic—read, Nice Place, Shame About the Human Race observes social habits, routines and characteristics which make-up western cultures of today. More importantly, it shows a way for people to attain personal happiness and contribute for a better world regardless of social status. It brilliantly delivers its message, without being too serious and tedious.

Religio-Spiritual Development Foundation opens a gateway for humanity to wisdom and understanding on the context of religio-spirituality and multi-religiology in the first volume of the RSDF Chronicles, RSDF Chronicle I: Facilitating Access to Sacred Information. This book will walk readers through an introduction to the rationalization on multi-religiology and comparative religiology.
This book contains a loaded manuscript that reviews religio-spiritual affirmations in an uncompromising manner. Requiring open-mindedness due to its broad coverage, it is divided into two sections that comprise sub-sections of equal importance. RSDF Chronicle I: Facilitating Access to Sacred Information covers the mundane review of religious affirmations and commentary—delving into primal religious traditions, Vedic religious traditions, Semitic religious traditions, and ideologies related to spiritual matters. In its second segment, readers will find the introduction to multi-religiology, which provides details on the pantheon of different religions, scriptures of different religions, and the introduction to comparative religiology.
A powerful spiritual support bringing a substantial amount of wisdom and information, this book renews readers’ faith and beliefs by allowing them to learn more and embrace the truth about The Ultimate Divine Being. It is a must read for those who engage in multi-religiology and address God, TUDB, in a non-hypocritical and unbiased manner.

The Secret Agenda by James Best

[postlink] https://xlibristhebuzzbooks.blogspot.com/2012/12/the-secret-agenda-by-james-best.html[/postlink]
The author, James Best, (a pseudonym), is a lawyer with international connections, who sold his three practices to write. The Secret Agenda is his second novel. He has won prizes for his writing. On a personal level, Best has four sons and lives in South Wales, UK, with his second wife and youngest son, though he has property in Spain and from time to time escapes to his villa to write. He enjoys mystical studies and travels extensively.
United Kingdom (PRWEB) December 20, 2012
Author James Best continues to stun his fans and book enthusiasts through his gripping political thriller that presents a provocative premise—the 9/11 incident that claimed thousands of lives was an inside job. The Secret Agenda couched in fast-paced and multi-layered plots. This second engaging novel paints the picture of an intensely-plotted political thriller framed within factual extracts of information. It will undoubtedly stretch your imagination.
Best’s mentor in his writing, the prolific and best-selling writer, J. Herbie Brennan, has said: “James Best is a vivid writer and his work will transport you to distant realms of place and mind. When you emerge, your soul will be better for the trip.” It was Brennan who wrote the introduction to Best’s first novel, The Secret of the Scrolls.
By turns, Best’s second novel is incisive and exhilarating, The Secret Agenda centres on John O’Rourke, a former priest now working as a journalist. He comes into possession of crucial evidence establishing the long-term plans of those in power in both the US and the UK. O’Rourke knows too much and his life is at risk as he follows a trail of deception and intrigue that stretches from Dubai to Afghanistan, from the Balkans to London, Italy and ultimately Washington. But as O’Rourke amasses his proof, an unexpected development occurs. He is offered a stark choice with a 48-hour deadline -- accept a million pounds to keep silent or risk death for himself and his family.
Best makes use of his unique gift to create an instant literary favorite in The Secret Agenda. Dealing with the most controversial issues that plague the world today, this book clothed in action, speculation and intrigue tells of a man’s bleak dilemma, yet his commitment to truth may mean the destruction of those he loves most.
Without a doubt, readers will find themselves hooked into the The Secret Agenda in one sitting as they unravel one shocking secret after the other.

K.T. Baker’s little hero in “The Fairly Amazing Adventures of Mole” follows in the footsteps of stars like Mickey Mouse and Alvin and the Chipmunks
SURREY, England (PRWEB) December 20, 2012
From the witty creativity of author K.T. Baker, The Fairly Amazing Adventures of Mole is a newly published children’s fiction that successfully transforms a tiny mammal, with velvety fur and invisible ears, into an adventurous and adorable hero that children will love. K.T. Baker’s book gives birth to another rising star following the footsteps of little celebrity critters such as Mickey Mouse and Alvin and the Chipmunks.
K.T Baker’s tale is all about the adventures and misadventures of Mole. Having spent a contented childhood in suburban Surrey with his devoted parents, Mr. and Mrs. Velvet, Mole decides the time has come for him to explore the outside world. So he leaves St. Mole’s Hill, carrying only a trendy backpack filled with a week’s supply of worms, a camera, some clean dungarees, and his satellite navigation system called Pom Pom.
For his first adventure, Mole digs his way to London to see the Queen. Digging out into a football pitch, he accidentally helps England score the winning goal. Newspaper headlines immediately read: “World Cup Winners! England Scores the Winning Moalll!” On his next adventure, Mole accidentally foils an underground jail escape while looking for worms in Wormwood Scrubs.
In an evening of culture in Royal Albert Hall, Mole leads others in singing “Mole Britannia,” followed by “Land of Mole and Glory.” He also joins an 800-metre tunnelling event in the Molympics, visits the “Mole a Lisa” in the Louvre Art Gallery and the “Mole an Rouge” Nightclub where the mole dancers are incredibly awesome.

Feelings Poetry by Gary Mclauchlan

After reading this book, one will realized that indeed, poetry is the best art there is, for besides everything else, it is also drawing or painting with words. It is a living picture, a picture that says more than a painting on canvas; and its mission is to inspire. The natural birth of poetry takes place on the day when the doors of the heart are opened by the writer himself and in this case, Mclauchlan’s Feelings Poetry says and feels it all and is willing to share his thoughts to an inspired reader.
UNITED KINGDOM (PRWEB) December 20, 2012
All poetry, no matter what genre, has to come from the heart. For without feeling behind the words then the words are but shallow empty shells upon the page. Poetry has to be felt by the writer in order to pass on that same feeling to the reader of the piece. In Feelings Poetry, author Gary Mclauchlan presents a poignant collection of poems that expresses his innermost feelings deep from within his heart.
This poetry book shares Mclauchlan’s pure talent and creativity in conveying his personal feelings by writing poems that reflects his genuine emotions. His topics vary from love, faith, family relations, funny moments, to weather occurrences, heartaches, friendships, virtues, to places, situations, secrets and so much more.
One thing visibly noticeable with his poetic style is that his knack for effectively playing up with words, creating vivid imagery within the mind of his readers and still makes them pause and think about his personal thoughts on any given subject, and he is doing it so well.

RSDF Chronicle II by Religio-Spiritual Development Foundation

Book Digests the Essence of Religio-Spiritual Development Foundation and Different Scriptures
South Africa (PRWEB) December 19, 2012
RSDF Chronicle II: The Book of Quotations & References Facilitating Access to Sacred Information by the Religio-Spiritual Development Foundation offers readers an informative and enlightening literary adventure as it summarizes the essence of religio-spirituality and different scriptures. They are intended to inspire spiritual development of humanity before death ensues.
This informative book is somewhat a loaded manuscript that reviews specific issues in an uncompromising manner. It is broad, somewhat comparative religiology and thus requires open-mindedness and serious study and leaning. Divided into two sections, RSDF Chronicle II: The Book of Quotations & References Facilitating Access to Sacred Information deals with the uncensored mundane review of the wars of divinity and the uncensored mundane review of the unfulfilling repercussions of the wars of divinity. The book is an attempt to provide understanding, awaken readers’ consciousness and broaden their awareness—and eventually strengthening their faith while they embark on a spiritually awakening journey.
Filled with wisdom and enlightenment, this book encourages readers to read it with an open mind, rationalise on its information, and internalise its essence so that it empowers itself to address God, The Ultimate Divine Being, honestly and in a non-hypocritical manner in pursuit of his unconditional and loving salvation.

The Salt of My Desire by Joan Schrauwen

[postlink] https://xlibristhebuzzbooks.blogspot.com/2012/12/the-salt-of-my-desire-by-joan-schrauwen.html[/postlink]
Novel Takes Readers to the Earlier Days of Angola and Introduces Them to Its Brave Freedom Fighters
Joan Schrauwen describes the journey of several individuals whose connected experiences compel them to attain self discovery, tragedy, and ultimately love, against the background of two of the most magnificent wilderness regions of Africa.
Compelling and captivating The Salt of My Desire shares the romantic adventure story of various characters whose intertwined lives reveal a myriad of eye opening insights into two African countries in the 1960’s before civil war tore them apart.
Dealing with the sophistication of Windhoek and the illegal diamond trade; the big safari outfits taking hunters throughout the vast wilderness areas of both South West Africa and Angola; and the son of an African chief who tries to save a herd of the most endangered of all antelope, the Royal Sable of Angola, this is also the richly evocative story of the love of a Bushman, last of his tribe, for his ‘spirit’s child’, son of a South West farmer; and the heroine, a half-wild young girl growing up on the adjoining farm - and of the three men of different nationalities who love her.
Throw in a beautiful Italian Vogue model who causes disruption wherever she goes; and the head of the Counter-Insurgency Unit in South West Africa, with the almost impossible task of protecting the border against invasion of his country, one finds that this book showcases the extremes of both the primordial and the idealistic facets of the human experience. Illustrating how one can find virtues even in the wildest settings as well as unearthing a series of primal truths, this literary work serves as a catalyst for the emergence of a broader perspective about a different way of living.
In the light of recent events in Angola, where this previously unknown country is becoming one of the biggest economies in Africa, with oil production now representing 95% of export income, the background of the 27 year civil war that ended a decade ago devastated the country, destroying much of its infrastructure. The book shows the magnificent country of Angola in the earlier years, and the first emergence of the Freedom Fighters there; as well as in South West Africa (now Namibia).

A Scenic View of Kruger National Park by Sandra Mercer

[postlink] https://xlibristhebuzzbooks.blogspot.com/2012/12/a-scenic-view-of-kruger-national-park.html[/postlink]
Author Sandra Mercer’s Newly Published Book Takes us on an Awe-inspiring Photographic Journey through Kruger National Park in South Africa
An Invitation to take A Scenic View of Kruger National Park
 (PRWEB) December 19, 2012
Sandra Mercer’s life-long passion for wildlife and nature is clearly evident in this wonderful display of photographs, taken during her frequent visits to Kruger National Park over the past few years.
Her purpose for publishing this book was to portray the timelessness, enduring beauty, solitude and serenity of the Kruger National Park and in so doing she has captured the very essence and breathlessness of a part of untamed Africa.
What is very noticeable about the Park is the ever-changing scenery, not only seasonally, but also from year to year. One never knows what to expect especially after floods, droughts and fires.
From early morning sunrises, to wildlife going about their daily routines, one is mesmerised by the splendour of the trees and paths and overwhelmed by the seemingly endless grasslands, water and landscape panoramas. The late afternoon vistas and sunsets leave one awestruck.
“A Scenic View of Kruger National Park” is a celebration of the true Spirit of Africa. This work by Sandra Mercer should be an inspiration to all of us to take time out of our busy lives, to enjoy and appreciate Earth’s natural wonders and to absorb their greatness into our very Souls.
“Once Africa is in your blood, it will remain forever in your heart and soul…...”
About the Author
Sandra was born and raised in Harare, Zimbabwe where she enjoyed a happy, loving childhood, holidaying extensively in Zimbabwe and South Africa with her family. She developed an interest in photography from an early age and has an inherent love of nature, especially animals.

In 1982, Sandra immigrated to Pietermaritzburg in South Africa, where she married and had a son, Justin, in 1989.
Sandra was reflecting on her life’s purpose about two years ago and decided how wonderful it would be to share her passion for natural beauty and wildlife with others. She and her partner, Basil, had visited Kruger National Park frequently over the past fourteen years and during this time Sandra had collected a substantial number of photographs. It was then that she realized that she would publish this album and in so doing leave a legacy for others to appreciate in years to come.

The Good Wine Served Last by Thomas Hanrahan

[postlink] https://xlibristhebuzzbooks.blogspot.com/2012/12/the-good-wine-served-last-by-thomas.html[/postlink]
Sever Psychological Suffering Transforms Patient into a Published Poet
Dublin, Ireland (PRWEB) December 19, 2012
From author-poet Thomas Hanrahan, a man who discovered his gift for writing through severe psychological suffering, The Good Wine Served Last is a remarkably empowering anthology of poems written to nourish souls and spirits, minds and hearts of every reader. Hanrahan’s newly published poetry book is born out of a need, but developed out of a desire to share the wonderful discovery of faith, grace and healing.
Hanrahan’s condition was professionally diagnosed as chronic. However, he never gave up. Through the loving grace of God and the support of a prayer group, he has miraculously transformed his trials into triumphs, his blunders into blessings. Now, he publishes his book to publicly witness, share, acknowledge and give thanks to God for the gift of life, for the talents and graces bestowed, received and promised—past, present and yet to come. At hindsight, he admits he never could view any disappointment, trial, experience or event in his life as failure, but only as building blocks and mouldings, forming him for his future mission.
Just as new wine is poured into new wineskin, in The Good Wine Served Last, readers will witness the gradual transformation of Hanrahan from an old wineskin into a new one, as God prepares him to be a vessel of his new mission. Reborn, likened unto a child, and released to explore, taste, sow new seeds, harvest new crops, embrace outwards and share life authentically, Hanrahan has become for others a wounded-healer through his writings.
“My poetry, herein, hangs together, depicts and records the changing seasons of my life, from my anxious cries in the poem titled ‘Troubled Beginnings’ to the continuing transformative light of my poem ‘Caterpillar to Butterfly,’” Hanrahan humbly shares.

About the Author
Thomas Hanrahan is 63 years of age and born in Dublin, Ireland. He just recently retired and is a father and grandfather, blessed with four children and eight grandchildren, all by the grace of God, a source of absolute joy in his life. Thomas had the beginning of his writings dating back around 20 years ago. His inspiration and need to write literally was born out of severe psychological suffering, professionally diagnosed as chronic. Through contact with a prayer group, a member encouraged him to record his thoughts in writing, enkindling in him a spark of hope, affirming his absolute belief that freedom, peace, and healing would be his, despite an absolutely contrary professional opinion.
